Tirzepatide → Retatrutide: Looking for Advice

I’ve been thinking about adding retatrutide into my current tirzepatide routine and, if I respond well to it, possibly switching over completely down the road.

For those of you who have made the switch (or are currently stacking the two), I’d love to hear your experience.

Did you gradually transition from tirzepatide to retatrutide, or did you stop tirzepatide and start retatrutide right away?

If you tapered, what did your dosing schedule look like?

Any side effects, appetite changes, or weight loss differences that stood out?

I’m not looking for medical advice, I’m just interested in hearing real world experiences from people who’ve been through it. Thanks in advance!

Welcome. I have been discovering lately that some folks don't understand how to search the site.

It really is the best way to accumulate knowledge quickly as Herkimer says.

If you need a tutorial, just ask. I like helping people figure those things out.

It really helps to get an overview of how this forum is set up.

Take some time to review and figure out the layout of this site.

After months here I still find interesting past threads by using the forum's search feature.

Find the magnifying glass icon or the word "Search" in the upper right corner of the page.

Once there, click the orange "Advanced Search" -- you can find various topics playing with different keywords and whether you check "Search titles only"

I stopped tirz and went straight to Reta. I ended up going back to tirz after a few months because despite the weight falling off me, I didn’t have any appetite suppression and still had food noise. I titrated all the way up to 8mg on Reta and I just went straight back to 5mg tirz
