Has anyone else noticed this?

You finally lose 5 kg… and somehow your partner, workmate or family member mysteriously gains 5 kg. Or the reverse - someone close to you starts dropping weight, and suddenly you’re wondering why your jeans have shrunk.

We all know the Law of Conservation of Energy says energy can not be created or destroyed—it can only be transferred from one form to another.

So today I’d like to propose my own scientific breakthrough:

The Conservation of Fat Theory: Fat can neither be created nor destroyed. It can only be transferred from one person to another.

I don’t have any peer-reviewed evidence yet… but I have a suspicious number of real-world observations that fit this model. 😂

Vote:

👍 YES – This explains everything.

😆 NO – Put down the chocolate and stop blaming physics.

😂 I like to think I’m helping the drought in the UK at the moment… ‘burning’ of fat releases CO2 and water. However, looks like we may be contributing to greenhouse gases and climate warming 🤦‍♀️😂😂😂

In practice the rate of obesity, for the first time since this pandemic of obesity started, has been going down. Fat is not being preserved on a societal level, people are genuinely shrinking. Once you strip away the moral BS and actually treat people they get better. There is still a lot of stigma associated with the use of these medications but I think that will change as a large percentage of the population will be on them.
