2kg/4.4lb week sustained for 8 weeks isn't "short term" for most people (exceptionally heavy people could have that much water weight).
That's something like a 2k calorie daily deficit, assuming the water weight isn't included.

Unlikely without actual androgenic steroids. A simple calorie deficit, even a harsh one, will probably not permanently harm you unless your malnutrition causes scurvy or kidney failure or osteoporosis but all of those can be avoided if you're careful with supplementation.Kalinser said:
