Whats up with social media peptide ads?

Recently, whilst doomscrolling TikTok, I've noticed more and more ads that are showing peptide factories claiming to be 'real Chinese sources'; some are clearly AI-generated and others are low quality.

Now obviously, I would never order from a social media advert as they seem sketchy AF!

I just wanted to see if anyone has any info/anecdotes about these. 🌸
 
I think some of them are resellers but the majority is most likely scams. Not worth the risk imho I'd never buy from a tik tok ad.

That said it's really scary at how popular peptides have suddenly gotten. Everyone from his man and dog is currently using them and these resellers are making a killing.
 
I've seen them too.

I believe any of the AI videos claiming to ship wholesale from China are scammers. I can't imagine a legitimate vendor would even need to advertise on TikTok.

Yes, its also scary to see because teenagers and kids use the app, I've seen posts of kids as young as 15 giving tips on where to hide their peps.

I can sense a major crackdown happening because a child uses their parents credit card, ends up misusing it and the press going apesh*t - it's a shame really.. 🌸
 
Any 18 year old with a computer, AI and an internet connection can make an ad for you to send money to...thats way less overhead than having to setup a factory, supply chain, distribution and all the rest of that hard, annoying stuff....

yah, but we were new to the GLP1Chat at one point too, perched on Zippitys lap, wide eyed with milk crushing our upper lip.

They are all over fb. Every second ad

What's TikTok?

Only joking, but man it's a cesspool of scams, peptides are just the latest iteration. I had TikTok on my phone once for a whole 5 minutes before punching "uninstall."

Based on your search history and sites you visit the algorithm creates targeted ads.

Just bought a new Golf cart motor and I am now bombarded with golf cart motors..

If you read pep articles and go to pep sites you will get targeted advertising.

I agree with your assessment to not buy from these guys...

As someone whose job it is to run ads then this is your answer.. algorithms are very smart and even being on this website would give enough direction for what you are being served
 
I'm submerged by peps Ads on Fb. Kind of scary cause some people Will believe that It Is legit, and they are a Grest way for having your data (phishing).

its a double edged sword, because if too many people catch on about the actual sources they'll get shut down but if people dont know they will just keep getting scammed..

I don't think they'll get shut down, cause These ads are targeting people already on the pep world (algorythm based on your web history and cookies).
